I am per­so­nally not the big­gest of Bolly­wood fans but I find myself stran­gely drawn towards these clas­sic pie­ces with their obs­cure and engros­sing dance num­bers, their stran­gely pro­mi­nent lead sin­gers (with enor­mous nos­trils) and the rhyth­mi­cal grainy soundtrack:
