This is offi­cially one of the most moving, thought pro­vo­king and power­ful pro­duc­tions I have ever seen. This film not only del­ves into the human soul, our thought metho­do­lo­gies and rea­so­ning but it is also a metapho­ri­cal and poli­ti­cal mes­sage to Ame­rica. This is a most inte­llec­tual movie if ever I have seen one — it’s poig­nant words lea­ving myself as if ending a novel. It’s uni­que set­ting and style allows us to focus on the cha­rac­ters and the cha­rac­ters only. I grud­gingly loved this ‘epic’, it was beau­ti­ful and heart brea­king. Per­fect acting, direc­tion and wri­ting make Dog­vi­lle a must see for anyone with a conscience.
