My 4mp Sony kicks away all the 8mp cheap crap. The only annoying thing is the attitude of sony to use proprietary stuff like those useless memory stick duo. In the slr market by the way, I think Nikon is far superior especially on the prosumer market and the professional one. In the slr entry level I think sony is still a better choice that nikon and canon, before flaming..I own a d90 and a alpha200.
