University Adventures Commence

So I am now at UNI. And it is GREAT. I get to use CAPITALS for this. Most of the fears I have are gone and have met a nice group of peo­ple along my corri­dor. Arran­ging plans for the week to come. I am on a lovely 4mbit con­nec­tion, am in a YELLOW dor­mi­tory and have PURPLE chairs. I also have a SINK. Sadly I can­not play my music LOUD or watch movies really LOUD and my 5.1 spea­ker sys­tem is being a little weird (i.e. REAR is not WORKING at the moment). I have a key, a stu­dent card and I now need to sort out my doctor’s forms. I am drea­ding laundry and coo­king! I am 5 minu­tes from all the gig venues, clubs, cine­mas and thea­tres. I am gene­rally pretty happy, except the peo­ple I am with are not into “extra­va­gant” music or movies — art house stuff — they opt for the pop stuff. But they seem like peo­ple who are NICE. I’m DONE.
